Quality & Food Safety

Quality & food safety

What a buyer needs to know before putting our bucket in their kitchen.

The plant

Where it is made

Every batch is cooked at our own plant at 2875 S Congress Ave, Unit F&G, Delray Beach, Florida. We do not co-pack our own brand elsewhere. The plant is registered with the FDA and operates under a Florida FDACS food permit.

Our dulce de leche is certified kosher by Aleph Kosher: Dairy, Chalav Stam, all five recipes.

Traceability

Traceability, and why ours actually closes

The lot code is the cook date plus the batch number of that day. 260828-02 is the second batch of 28 August 2026.

The rule that makes it work: every SKU packed from that batch carries that same lot — whatever the size, whatever the label. One batch, one lot, every format. A recall traces to a cook, not to a guess.

Allergens & claims

Allergens and claims

Contains: Milk. Declared on every label.

Three claims are printed on the label and we do not stretch them: Gluten free · Palm oil free. We publish them in exactly those words, so the jar in your hand and the page on your screen say the same thing.

SQF

SQF

We are implementing an SQF food safety program. We are not certified yet, and we do not claim to be. This page will say so, with the certificate number, on the day it is issued — and not one day earlier.

The SQF logo is never printed on packaging. The certification scheme prohibits it. When we have it, it goes here and on our presentations.
